LOVE MERCY

"Will you seek and serve Christ in all persons,
loving your neighbor as yourself?"
"I will, with God's help"
(Baptismal Covenant, BCP 304-305)

Doing Mercy

When Jesus was asked about the greatest commandment, he taught that all the Law and the Prophets rest on two calls: to love God and to love our neighbor. At Christ the King, we seek to embody that love through mercy and service—feeding the hungry, sheltering the unhoused, visiting the sick, and offering practical support to neighbors in need.

We partner with local agencies and nonprofits who are best equipped to understand and respond to the needs of our community. Some of these collaborations are ongoing; others are seasonal as needs arise. Updates and opportunities to participate are shared regularly in The Whisper, our weekly e‑newsletter, and in Sunday announcements.

If you feel called to support this ministry, gifts may be made through the Donate tab above (please note outreach in the memo). Your generosity helps us live more fully into Jesus’ command to love our neighbors with compassion and dignity. If you would like to assist with some "hands-on" work, please see Rev. Moses for recommended opportunities in the Church and in the community.
