ALTAR FLOWERS

Flower Dedications
Altar or Chancel Flowers are an important part of worship, reminding us of the gift of life and beauty from God.
There are flowers or greens on the altar every Sunday of the year, except during Lent, which is a time of fasting and remembering the wilderness. During Advent (the four weeks before Christmas), we use greenery instead of flowers at and around the altar. On Christmas Day and Easter Day, poinsettias and lilies (or other flowers) fill the space as a sign of God's abundant life.
You can dedicate flowers for the altar/chancel in gratitude for the good things in your life or in remembrance of those who have died. Please use the link above to see available Sundays and make your dedication. A donation of $25 per dedication is suggested to help cover the cost of the flowers. You are invited to take the flowers home with you after service on the given day. You can make your donation in the Sunday offering or by clicking the DONATE link in the menu line at the top of the page. Please indicate "Flowers" in the memo line.
To guarantee inclusion in the bulletin, dedications should be completed by Monday of the week before. We will take a maximum of two dedications per week, so if the week you wanted is already taken - kindly find another that might work or swap with another. If you swap, notify the office as soon as possible.
You can also use the appropriate links to make similar dedications for Christmas Poinsettias and Easter Lilies.
