Christian Formation
Through Christian Faith Formation, we are invited into a life shaped by prayer, service, learning, and worship. We are inspired to engage our faith through scripture, reason, tradition, and the shared experience of worship. In this journey, we are continually transformed—learning to live our baptismal promises with integrity as we serve, witness, empower, and remain accountable to God and one another.
At Christ the King, Christian Formation is lifelong and communal. It is an ongoing, Spirit‑led process that creates safe and welcoming spaces for children, youth, and adults to explore, play, ask questions, share stories, learn, lead, and grow. Formation happens within the parish and the wider diocesan community, shaping disciples into the people God created them to be.
We also strive for formation that is informational, formational, and transformational—offering knowledge that deepens faith, practices that nurture spiritual growth, and experiences that open us to God’s renewing grace.

Fellowship means sharing life together—building real relationships, supporting one another, and growing in faith as a community. It’s the everyday mix of friendship, prayer, meals, laughter, and showing up for each other. Fellowship is simply belonging: knowing you’re welcomed, valued, and never walking the journey alone.The building of fellowship through social events, common meals, and gathering is as important a Christian activity as worship, study, and prayer. At Christ the King, we do our best to make felloship events, prepare food and drink, and have fun together for an intergenerational community.
Rector's Bible Study

The Rector leads two ongoing weekly Bible studies, each focused on a single book or section of Scripture. While the studies unfold continuously, they remain intentionally flexible—so feel free to join at any point. Come with curiosity, wonder, and a willingness to explore.
The Forums
Sundays
11:30 am -12:30 pm
Forums are short (1-3 week) sessions dedicated to a variety of topics ranging from Episcopal tradition and spirituality to matters of peace and justice. The Forums are a great place to bring questions and doubts---they are a safe space for dialogue, speculation, and inquiry.
"Fab Five" Women's Group
2nd Saturday---10:00 am

All women are invited to this joyful space to connect, share stories, deepen friendships, and support each other in life and faith. Here, you will find an open circle, good conversation, and opportunities to grow together in community. Come as you are and enjoy faith, fun, food, fellowship, and family.
Camp Wingmann
Camp Wingmann, a ministry of the Diocese of Central Florida, is an energetic summer camp for children and teens (3rd grade through high school) located on Trout Lake in Avon Park. Christ the King is committed to ensuring that every child who wishes to attend has the opportunity to do so. We joyfully support families in making camp accessible.

1st Sunday---after service
in the Parish Hall
All men and boys are invited to a ministry of service, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Together, we engage in hands‑on service for the church and community, nurture lives of prayer and evangelism, and encourage one another to live out the Gospel with integrity and compassion.

Coffee and treats are served on the Patio after Sunday service. On the 5th Sunday, we enjoy lunch together. If you would like to help set-up or clean-up, please contact the Church office.
