Acolyte

Acolytes support our worship by serving at the altar and helping the congregation enter prayer with beauty and reverence. They light candles, carry crosses and torches in procession, assist the priest in preparing the altar for Holy Communion, and help ensure the smooth flow of the liturgy.​ Acolytes sit with the priest at the altar during service. This ministry is open to children, teens, and adults and is ideal for those who enjoy being part of the rhythm and movement of worship in a hands‑on, meaningful way.​

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild prepares and cares for the sacred objects, linens, paraments, and decorations used in worship. Their work is quiet, faithful, and essential—usually done before and after services, and sometimes during the week, to ensure the church is ready for prayer and celebration. Members polish vessels, set out the elements, arrange flowers, and maintain the beauty and order of the sanctuary. Responsible adults, youth, and children are all invited to participate in this behind‑the‑scenes ministry that supports the heart of our liturgical life.

Greeters (Ushers)

Greeters offer a warm welcome to everyone arriving for worship—handing out bulletins and newsletters, assisting newcomers, and helping people feel at ease as they enter the church. During the service, they support the flow of worship by helping with the collection and the distribution of Communion, with one greeter assigned to basic security. Ushers serve from the rear of the church, staying attentive to any needs that arise and ensuring the congregation is cared for throughout the service. Together, Greeters and Ushers embody hospitality, attentiveness, and joyful service.

Lay Eucharistic Minister 

A Lay Eucharistic Minister assists the priest in the distribution of Holy Communion and helping ensure the flow of worship remains prayerful and reverent. Their primary role is offer the chalice to communicants, maintaining a steady presence that reflects hospitality, care, and devotion and helping worshippers experience the grace and welcome of Christ. LEMs sit with the priest at the altar. Confirmed communicants who with to serve are licensed by the Bishop of the Diocese of Central Floria. 

Lector (Reader)

Lectors proclaim the Sacred Scripture, offering clear and confident reading of the Old Testament, the responsive Psalm, and the Epistles, as well as the Prayers of the People. They sit within the congregation and come forward when it is their time to read, modeling attentive participation in the liturgy. Adults, youth, and children who can read audibly and with composure are warmly invited to serve. Through this ministry, lay leaders help the community hear Scripture with clarity, reverence, and joy.​

Music (choir & musicians)

The music team leads the congregation in singing throughout the Sunday service and on major holy days such as Christmas and Holy Thursday. Members bring energy, joy, and prayerful focus to worship, singing with live musicians and following streamed music as needed. The team sits in the Sanctuary on the “music side” and is active for the entire service. All are welcome to participate—anyone with a love of singing and the ability to blend with others in a worshipful setting.
