Lent

Let us look around and see where God has been
Perhaps the invitation for us is to be honest about our confusion and, for now, to set aside our questions. Let us look around and see where God has been, where God is now, and where God will always be at work—in our world, within us, and in our surroundings. God is breaking through our assumptions. Thanks be to God.

The Winds of Change
In this season of Lent, the winds of change are swirling all about. We hear the sounds, but we do not know its path. We must give ourselves to the wind, must enter the darkness, and walk, trusting that we will find ourselves in the place where we belong. We are not always called to understand, but only to know.

Tempted in Every Way as We Are
The Proper Preface is just a brief moment in the Liturgy—it’s truly the beginning of something larger and often goes unnoticed. Take time to reflect on its meaning today and throughout this Lent. Remember, Jesus understands what it’s like, and he calls us to take up our cross and follow him.

God Loves Dust
God loves dust! The particles of stars — the tiny fragments of creation borne aloft on the wind of heaven. God has always loved the dust, from the moment God brought the dust into existence.
